STOCKHOLM - A yacht called Kraken and made to "become a sea monster", is now being designed by a team of Swedish design, equipped with top-class luxuries, such as a reception room, a spiral staircase, and even equipped with a helipad.
Length is 60 meters and it is proposed to have a top speed of 35 knots.
Kraken was designed by the same team who created Vapour GT concept car, a supercar Batmobile with a top speed of 290 kilometers per hour, and they even have a striking resemblance.
Chief designer, Edward Gray Dark Gray Design, says this was intentional and he wants an "extreme vehicle" to share the color scheme and features a similar design.
"Kraken is a design study that explored the boundaries of yacht design. It takes inspiration from the concept Vapour GT to create a set of extreme vehicles for land and sea, "Gray said as quoted by the Daily Mail, recently.
Super-yacht name is taken from the name of a legendary giant octopus called Kraken is said to be capable of destroying the ship and eat whales.
