CALIFORNIA - Developer games, Activision Blizzard announced that it is now working on the film and TV series. Developer of the franchise Call of Duty game that will have its own film studio.
Reported by the BBC on Saturday (11/07/2015), Activision Blizzard plans to bring the TV series to Skylanders Academy in 2016. The company also plans to make a film based military video game Call of Duty, which began in 2018 or 2019.
Giant game developer announced plans in the event called BlizzCon. Co-President of Activision Blizzard Studios, Nick van Dyk revealed that this studio offers action film that would be expected by fans.
For your information, Activision had planned release of the film for the Warcraft franchise in 2016. The company has cooperated with Legendary Pictures to realize the project.
Activision apparently being 'rise' to the expansion of its business into making the original film-based game that they created. The company has also announced the expansion of its business in the mobile realm, with the acquisition of King Digital Entertainment.
King Digital Entertainment is the creator of the game Candy Crush. Reportedly, the agreement makes the acquisition of Activision to pay for USD5,9 billion.
