Security loopholes in Chrome endanger Android Devices
A security holes in its Chrome browser for Android devices called potentially considerable danger. Based security researcher Guang Gong from Quihoo 360, the gap could even be used to take control of Android devices in question. The information shared by Guang Gong in PacSec Conference that took place some time ago in Tokyo.
Details of the security hole is intentionally not disclosed by the parties in the conference from being misused by parties who have malicious intent. However, from the brief description given, this security hole related to JavaScript in the browser Chrome for Android. Utilizing a link to a page that is specific JavaScript compromised, an attacker can take over control on Android devices by forcing the installation of a malicious application.
Representative of Google in attendance at the conference confirmed the findings of the security loopholes Guang Gong. Google itself promised a patch to fix the security hole will be presented. However, one thing that can be learned from this security hole, Android and the applications in which it takes routinely checked to find security gaps with potential dangers.
So far, the related security holes were found Guang Gong, the potential danger is easily avoided by avoiding links coming from an untrusted source. Without any user action opens a link to a page that infiltrated by malicious JavaScript, this vulnerability can not be exploited.
