Amazon Web Services (AWS) will add to the data center or the so-called "AWS Infrastructure Region" in five regions, 2016. Namely India, South Korea, China, the United Kingdom, and the United States (Ohio).
That way, next year there will be a total of 17 AWS data centers around the world. Seven of them standing in the region.
Therefore, Asia is regarded as one of the regions with the ecosystem of the most progressive technology-based business today. Primarily in India, China, and Indonesia.
"I saw people of Indonesia have a business culture that is unique and comprehensive. From small, medium, up to the top," said Amazon.com CTO Werner Vogels, Wednesday (11.10.2015) at Hotel Hermitage, Central Jakarta.
With the addition of data centers in the region, AWS hopes to provide more qualified services for the development and innovation of digital-based business.
Unknown, AWS Infrastructure Region is the geographical location in which AWS has dots clusters to embed its datacenter. This allows developers to select the use of data center closest to their location.
The data center consists of a variety of servers. In the AWS cloud system, the server will not collapse because it is claimed to be programmed with a "self-healing".
That is, the server can automatically repair the damage. Within these improvements, site or virtual services companies will be transferred to another server for a while.
For example a company chooses two servers in Singapore as the main supporter and two servers in Tokyo as an advocate for backup. Singapore when the server down, the company's site will switch to the server in Tokyo.
At the same time server in Singapore will repair itself and bring in "reinforcements" from other servers which are both based in Singapore.
In just seconds, the site of the company will re-use the main server. All of this automated system is regulated through a sophisticated cloud configuration. So, when there are servers that are damaged or overload, visitors to the site or application users will not be "ngeh".
