NASA Pluto Photo Release Color "Rainbow"

WASHINGTON - Since the spacecraft NASA's New Horizons Pluto went to last summer, many of the dwarf planet profile which can be seen the world. Not long ago, NASA released a gorgeous photo of Pluto.

Quoted from the NASA site, Friday (13/11/2015), scientists New Horizons Pluto has changed color photographs with a technique called "principal component analysis". This technique is used to clarify a lot of subtle color differences between different regions of Pluto.

Data picture "Psychedelic Side" is derived from the color cameras spacecraft Ralph / MVIC on July 14 at 11:11 UTC from a distance of 22 thousand miles (35 thousand kilometers) of Pluto.

This picture was presented Will Grundy of the surface composition of the team of New Horizons on November 9 in the Division of Planetary Sciences meeting (DPS) of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) in National Harbor, Maryland.

Until now, New Horizons still roam in the Kuiper Belt, and continue sending data to scientists on Earth. Need 16 months for the spacecraft to send back thousands of images and measurements made during their past Pluto.
