Growing plants on Mars, Evidence Can Be Inhabited Man
CALIFORNIA - Mars later became the world spotlight because of the US space agency NASA has found water on the red planet. But, so far there is no evidence for life there, not even a tiny bacteria that live there.
However, the scientists say, it does not mean Mars become the enemy as many people think. That's because the plants can grow in the soil of the red planet. Indeed, the plant will require a controlled environment to flourish. But the researchers point out, all the proper nutrients that plants need to grow to be found on Mars.
Therefore, in the Martian movie, there is a scene of astronaut Mark Watney used Martian soil for growing potatoes for himself. "In 'The Martian', Mark Watney used Martian soil for growing potatoes in a controlled environment of 'Hab'. In fact, the soil on Mars is actually having plant nutrients necessary for survival on Mars, "said NASA scientist, as reported by Softpedia, Friday (09/10/2015).
