Analyst: iPhone Sales 6s Will Not Defeat iPhone 6

Shares of KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo gave a note to investors that the iPhone 6s impossible to beat the record sales of the iPhone 6 in the fourth quarter holiday season. For the record, the fourth quarter of 2014, Apple set a new record by selling 74, 5 million iPhone, largely contributed by the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

According to estimates Kuo, Apple will sell between 70-75 million iPhones during the 2015 holiday shopping season, which means that we are likely to witness a decrease in shipments from year to year.

From there it appears that the iPhone 6s have a better start than the previous generation. Kuo said that Apple is likely to announce an increase from year to year in shipping during Q3, provides an estimate of approximately 23.6% to 48.5 million units.

Furthermore, analysts expect that Apple sent between 20-22 million handsets from generation iPhone 6s, up from 14-15 million of the iPhone 6 in the third quarter of 2014. But according to Kuo because it pushed Apple's decision to include China as the first launch, and not of the average customer.

According to Kuo, Apple is expected to report year-on-year decline in shipments in the first quarter related to 2016, and is the first decline for Apple. But this is not just according to Kuo, some analysts also predicted that the next generation iPhone will not get past 6s previous iPhone.
